Mark your calendar for November 7th (tomorrow) and add buy chocolate at Main Street’s newest shop, Empire, to your to do list. You won’t be disappointed. Seriously, chocolate from the Walgreens is good but Empire’s homemade artisan chocolates is off the charts. The store has an official chocolatier, Mr. Todd Horvath, who is straight from the Willa Wonka factory. Ok, so I made up the Willa Wonka reference but I’m telling you once you get inside the new store and bask in the sweet aroma you’ll be singing like an oompa loompa too.
Here’s the announcement from the new owner, Ms. Catherine Cartwright-Jones:
On November 7, Main Street’s newest shop, Empire, will have its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony! Described as “an emporium of pleasurable necessities,” Empire will offer artisan chocolates and pastries, handmade soaps and cosmetics, henna, and natural hair dyes. All of Empire’s products are locally produced and assembled.
Empire’s staff includes general manager Gwyneddh Jones, assistant managers Leah Tonon and Beth Sadowski, and chocolatier Todd Horvath.
All visitors to the grand opening will receive a free sample of hand-crafted chocolate. We look forward to meeting you, and hope you enjoy Empire!
