With the threat of another round of potentially significant snowfall and a 30 degree swing in temperatures forecast for the next 24 hours, the City’s Public Service Directed announced that a Snow Parking Ban (which means no on street parking) is in effect from 12 noon Tuesday January 13th until 12 noon Wednesday January 14th. ANNOUNCED A SNOW EMERGENCY PARKING BAN BEGINNING 12:00 NOON TUESDAY, JANUARY 13, 2009 AND EXTENDING UNTIL 12:00 NOON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 14, 2009.
DURING A SNOW EMERGENCY, PARKING ON ALL CITY STREETS IS BANNED TO PROVIDE FOR SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL. A SNOW EMERGENCY EXISTS DURING ANY 24-HOUR PERIOD WHEN TWO OR MORE INCHES OF SNOW HAS ACCUMULATED.
