With Kent State University’s nationally accredited School of Journalism and Mass Communication located about 2 blocks from my office it’s not surprising that I get a lot of interview requests from the next generation of print and broadcast journalism students.
It’s not always easy to find time to accommodate all of their requests but we do our best to give them the time and information they’re looking for.
Kent State has it’s own television production studio and control room full of students learning how a news show comes together. The students are in front and behind the cameras getting hands-on experience to help them launch their careers.
Last week Tom Wilke and I were invited to be interviewed in the studio on the Portage Pulse show to discuss the status of the sale of the courthouse in downtown Kent.
Here’s a link to that interview (Tom and I start around 9:30 minutes into the segment).
